Team Miniatures Sioux Male Ghost Dancer IDA6001
The Sioux Ghost Dancer participated in a spiritual movement where dancers formed a circle, holding hands and shuffling their feet in a trance-inducing dance lasting several days, with the goal of entering the spirit world to commune with ancestors and experience a past of abundance. Dancers wore special white muslin Ghost shirts, which they believed would turn away enemy bullets, a belief that tragically proved false at the Wounded Knee Massacre.
